Who we are

Flint (“Flint”, “we”, “us”) operates a matchmaking and event‑discovery service intended for individuals located in India. Our primary business location is New Delhi, India. This Policy describes how we handle personal data when the Flint website or app is used.

Data we collect (minimal necessary)

• Account & profile: name, email, phone, age confirmation (18+), photos, interests, intent (dating/friends).
• Usage: likes, matches, RSVPs, limited device data (IP, device type), diagnostics and crash logs.
• Location: an approximate location or city to show nearby events; precise location is optional and off by default.
• Communications: messages with us, support tickets, feedback forms.

We do not collect sensitive identifiers unless strictly necessary and with consent. Do not upload sensitive personal data you do not wish to share.

How we use data

• Provide core features (profiles, matching, event discovery, notifications).
• Safety and moderation, fraud/spam prevention, and to enforce our Terms.
• Service analytics and reliability (aggregated and de‑identified wherever feasible).
• Legal compliance and to respond to lawful requests.

Legal bases (India)

Consent, performance of a contract (to deliver Flint features), legitimate interests (security, service improvement), and compliance with law. Where required, consent can be withdrawn in‑app or via privacy@flint.net.in.

Sharing (strict necessity)

• Vendors processing on our behalf (hosting, analytics, messaging, payments) under contracts and access controls.
• Safety/legal: to protect users, prevent harm, or comply with lawful requests.
• Business transfers: as part of merger/acquisition with notice where feasible.
• With your direction: optional integrations or when choosing to share content externally.

We do not sell personal data. We share only what is necessary to operate the service.

Storage, transfers, and retention

Data may be processed in India or other jurisdictions with contractual safeguards. We retain personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law. On account deletion, data is removed or irreversibly de‑identified subject to legal holds and backup cycles.

Your choices & rights

• Access, correct, or delete account data.
• Withdraw consent; opt out of marketing communications.
• Control cookies/trackers through browser or device settings.

Submit requests via in‑app settings or privacy@flint.net.in. We may authenticate requests and deny manifestly unfounded or excessive requests as permitted by law.

Children

Flint is for 18+ only. If an under‑18 account is identified, it will be removed.

Security

We implement technical and organizational measures appropriate to risk (encryption in transit, access controls, backups). No method is 100% secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
